Chris Tomlin

From the very first note played on his guitar, and the first word sung, Chris Tomlin’s voice will capture you. There is nothing fake about this man as he sings about his beliefs. Chris was born on May 4, 1972 in Grand Saline, Texas. His parents are Connie and Donna Tomlin. Ryan and Cory are his brothers. His father played a big role in his career by teaching him how to play the guitar. Already firmly planted in his faith and routes, Chris’s devotion to God became stronger and stronger with every passing year. After graduation from college, he became involved with Louie Giglio and the Passion Conferences. This step was central to his continued growth in his beliefs and his musical career, which can be fairly described as a vocation in ministry.
If, by chance, you are not familiar with Chris Tomlin by name, you may be familiar with some of his work. Your Grace Is Enough, Everlasting God, and We Fall Down, are just a very few of his masterpieces.
His hard work has been rewarded with several Dove Awards, and in the 37th Annual GMA Awards, he walked away with Artist of the Year, and Male Vocalist of the Year.
